This week, I get to step fully into the space where passion meets purpose.
Through the nonprofit, I’ve been helping individuals and families navigate the sometimes confusing but always worthwhile journey to homeownership. From first-time homebuyer questions to guiding them through next steps, I’ve watched people light up with hope. Many of them never thought this was possible for them—but with the right support and education, their dreams are becoming plans.
And then there’s the other side of what I do—storytelling.
I’ve been behind the camera, capturing these quiet, powerful moments. From the first handshake to the final slide of the workshop, I’m documenting what it really looks like to walk with someone toward stability and ownership. Later this week, I’ll sit down and edit that footage—turning clips into stories that show the heart behind the work.
Because creativity isn’t just for aesthetics. It’s a tool for impact.
Every time I get to merge my creative gifts with service—especially in a way that uplifts others—I’m reminded why I started this journey. Whether I’m helping someone find a policy, file their taxes, sign their first closing document, or believe in themselves again, this is the kind of work that lasts.
If you’ve ever wondered how your talents could make a difference—this is your reminder:
They can. They do. And someone out there needs exactly what you bring.
